Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT)

Service Description

Our BAT Certification Course provides the knowledge and hands on skills required to confidently perform breath alcohol testing in compliance with DOT(Department of Transportation) and non DOT regulations. Learn how to properly operate approved alcohol testing devices, calibrate equipment, follow chain of custody procedures, interpret results, handle refusal or invalid test, and document results accurately to meet all federal and workplace standards. Important: Participants are required to have access to an approved evidential breath testing device. Devices should be purchased upon class completion, before live exam is scheduled, an approved model is available for sale directly on Amazon. BACtrack S80 Professional Breathalyzer, (DOT/NHTSA complaint approved, FDA cleared) Alternative: BACtrack Scout (DOT/NHTSA compliant) Upon successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognized BAT Certification valid for 5 years.
